(Hall 3, Stand C3-412) SWARCO eVolt, the award-winning Electric Vehicle (EV) charging business, is exhibiting the newest addition to its range of proven rapid charging solutions at the Cenex Low Carbon Vehicle (LCV) Event.
The 150kW Raption charger is SWARCO eVolt’s most powerful charger to date, which can simultaneously charge DC/DC. It is a fully contactless solution and also incorporates an 8” LED touchscreen that can be used for revenue generation or advertising.
Alongside the 150kW Raption will be the slimline 50kW DC Raption charger. With triple AC/DC outlets and locking plug holsters, this unit is suitable for charging all rapid-charge-enabled EVs. Its modular design means that in the unlikely event that one rectifier should fail, the others remain operational.
E.Connect, SWARCO eVolt’s intelligent back office solution, will also be demonstrated on the stand. E.Connect is an EV Recharging network for eVolt and third party-manufactured charging stations across the UK and Europe and offers a number of key benefits for both EV drivers and charge point owners.
Justin Meyer, General Manager of SWARCO eVolt, says that LCV remains an important event in the EV calendar: “Year-on-year we have increased our presence at LCV and this year will be no different with our biggest ever stand to showcase our portfolio of smart, integrated charging solutions and technologies.
“2018 was a record-breaking year for the business; we now have over 7,000 SWARCO eVolt charging units installed and are working with 91 councils across the UK. We are committed to delivering continued innovation and further integration with intelligent traffic technologies, while ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.”
The latest version of SWARCO eVolt’s DC/AC controller and receiver solution will be on display, a cost-effective multiple charging solution consisting several charge points controlled by a single unit, with contactless functionality.
Also on stand will be SWARCO eVolt’s eVolve post, which provide a durable enclosure, robust in design and composite to withstand harsh weather conditions. The stand will also feature an eVolt branded BMW i3, which are driven by all of SWARCO eVolt’s service and maintenance engineers.
The event is held between 4th – 5th September at the Millbrook car testing facility in Bedford.
